Solar
films filter out the worst of the sun's heat
and glare whilst still letting in the light. This keeps
your building cooler and your staff more productive.
Typically on sunny days the
fitting of solar films can reduce ambient room temperature
by up to 8°c, thereby helping provide thermal comfort
as required by Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations
and by Display Screen Equipment Regulations arising from
European Directive 89 654 EEC.
Tinted, semi-reflective
or fully-reflective films can add new style to buildings
for a fraction of the cost of other refurbishment and
without the requirement to relocate tenants. These films
can obscure coated glass where the coating has broken
down and can prevent the annoying double reflection
often seen at evening and night with double glazed units.
